Founder
In 1997, I pioneered innovative concrete mix designs, specialty concrete colors, and design concepts that gave rise to Architectural Concrete Specialties. By 2000, I had acquired full contractor licensing, solidifying Architectural Concrete’s standing as Arizona’s foremost concrete precast company.
In 2016, I established a “Doing Business As” (DBA) entity called “Paradise Concrete Design” while maintaining Architectural Concrete as the parent company. Subsequently, I decided to sell the DBA to a general contractor as part of my envisioned retirement plan.
Despite selling the business, my passion for producing high-quality concrete remained strong. Due to the demands of many clients, my family and I have decided to re-enter the industry. I am proud to have my son, Scott, who is an accomplished engineer, as our senior project manager and my grandson, Andrew, who has years of experience with the company, as our production manager. Additionally, my daughter, who has been refinishing concrete for 15 years, is now our expert in restoring concrete.

Hanna listens to what I want to accomplish and offers fabulous ideas and suggestions. She has an eye for color and design. One thing that really sets them apart from other companies is Hanna and her team can produce the same vision color and design. When the finished product arrives, it Is just as expected. They are on time and professional from start to finish. Their installers are also involved in making the products, so they are fastidious in getting it installed. I recently worked with Hannah at Architectural Concrete to build my concrete kitchen counters, which include two large integral sinks. I always thought concrete was a great surface, but heard it was susceptible to cracking and staining. Architectural Concrete has somehow improved the process so that the result is an amazing smooth surface that looks fantastic and doesn’t crack or stain. It’s extremely durable like granite but has the look and feel of concrete. Mine are matte black and it’s the best Kitchen counter surface I’ve ever seen! The integral sinks were also a tricky requirement that they pulled off perfectly. Hannah and her team are true professionals and provide great customer service. I highly recommend them!
